This is my last week in my surgery rotation. I've seen so many amazing surgeries, there's no way to choose a favorite. I definitely enjoy the immediate satisfaction of completing a surgery and knowing the patient will feel much better after he or she makes it out of the recovery phase. We do watch our hospital patients for a few days, and it's really gratifying to see people back in the office in regular clothes, hair brushed, looking like healthy people again. That's when you know surgery was the right choice.
This rotation was quite demanding, so I haven't had a lot of time to devote to the blog. But, I'm always happy to see what you all have been working on each week. And, now that I'm done with scrubbing in for a few weeks, maybe I can get back to cooking! Have a great week!
