I can't believe it's already the middle of September. All of the kids are back in school, cool weather is coming, recipes with apples and pumpkins are being pinned, and the stores have Halloween decorations out. I love Fall.
Yes, that's all true, except the cool weather part. If you know where we live here in SWFL, you know that's a BIG FAT LIE that we tell ourselves to get through these sweltering months. Yesterday it was actually a little cooler - only 82 at dinnertime. Today it was 95 degrees. Yep, 95. That's hotter than most people get all summer. But, we are a tough bunch down here. We'll still drink our PSLs and dream of apple cider and pumpkin pie. So, share your Autumn posts with me, even if it is too hot to turn on the oven.

Here are the Featured posts from last week!
Sarah chose I'm Not That Mom from our very own Tiffany from The Mrs Tee. "I am also - NOT that mom, and I've gotten "into" it with some moms over it and also build a tribe of moms who are in my "camp," so to speak. There shouldn't be mom wars, but if there are, I'm totally not on the perfect side."
Natasha also chose this post. "I'm definitely not that mom! And my son is definitely not that child that needs anything complicated. He always aims for the simple, and even when I ask him what he wants for lunch, he'll tell me he just wants a jelly sandwich, fruit, and pretzels. So I'm just focusing on being myself and being simple - I'm definitely not perfect!"
Sarah chose Homemade Uncrustables from our very own Kelly from Making More... "My son is OBSESSED with peanut butter sandwiches, and I was just thinking of doing something like this for his lunches."
Mari chose If You Are Raising A Daughter You Are Raising Someones Wife and Mother from Barbie Bieber and Beyond. "I love this share its a conversation starter and as a parent to a daughter it arose strong feelings for sure. It reinforced my strong feelings about putting people in boxes. Thank you Mandy for awesome share."
Mari chose Fall in Love with the Process from Inner Savvy Wellness. "Karen's share was another favorite because in life we tend to resist change fearing something that is not even real! We create emotions and stress not needed if we just learn to let go just a little bit."
Heather chose Bruschetta from Morsels of Life. "Gabriel helped me pick the features this week, and this was his top choice. "That looks delicious!" were his exact words. We eat a lot of fresh vegetables, and combining tomatoes with garlic and basil on top of crusty bread is always a good idea."
Heather chose Chipotle Burgers with Avocado from My Suburban Kitchen. "This was Gabriel's other favorite (although we had a bit of work narrowing things down). He loves spicy food, and this chipotle burger with avocado suits his taste well. "It makes my mouth water," he said. And that was AFTER we'd had steak for dinner! I think I'll have trouble keeping this foodie fed during his teen years."
Stacey chose Bacon Cheese Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies from My Suburban Kitchen. "These look wonderful, and would be a great breakfast treat for my lil man's birthday. Thank you so much for sharing!"
Stacey chose No Cook Corn Black Bean Salsa from Honey and Birch. "This looks amazing! I love having salsa on so many different dishes, from chicken to salads, and I can't wait to try this. Thank you for sharing!"
Tiffany chose 8 Vital Goal Setting Tips for Success from Ecurosie. "I am always working on making sure I follow through on the Goals I set for myself and this post gave me the steps I need to help make that happen."
Tiffany chose Pumpkin Decorating Ideas: Metallic Foil Pumpkins from AttaGirl Says. "I definitely have fall on the brain and I am on the hunt for some new unique ways to decorate. Thanks for sharing these awesome ideas Amy!"
Natasha chose Caramel Apple Turnovers Recipe from Creatively Homemade. "I just love apple turnovers...and this recipe looks delicious! Thanks for sharing!"

Thanks for choosing my Bruschetta! You can't go wrong with combining tomatoes with garlic and basil on top of crusty bread. :) Thanks for hosting! We're not as hot as FL, but it's definitely not fall weather over here either - over 90 this week!
